The Village at Squaw Valley is buzzing today. It's windy and stomy but that is not keeping people away or inside. As I look out on to the village, I see kids having snow ball fights, people shopping and coming out of the stores with full bags, which must be indicative of the fantastic village store-wide sales taking place. I just bought my grand daughter, Riley, a pair of Baby Uggs at Plump Jack Sport!
Real Estate never sleeps here, it's a lifestyle and an investment that is irresistable. People get so fired up over the amazing skiing here at Squaw, that being a homeowner is something that just naturally becomes a part of the experience. And what an experience it is. The past two days have been unbelieveable. Blue bird skies, mild temps and yes, we can actually see. No dark, gray, drizzley scenarios. So, I played hookie from real estate and walked my dogs forever and ever. They have big smiles on their faces and sighs of total contentment. Hey, so do I. This is what I live for, not the big bucks. Just the beauty of what surrounds me. The great outdoors.
Maybe that is why I love selling real estate here in North Lake Tahoe. Because I can stand behind my product, 100%.
Yesterday and today, Real Estate will just have to wait for me. Truly, this is why we are here, right? The beauty of the Sierra, really fresh air and what all of these free gifts do to us. I am blessed, no doubt.
